League Winners - 2026
BOTS secure their second Willow League title in week 10 by
defeating the previously unbeaten (17 league fixtures) Chartered
Trust. Congratulations!
Trust and CMA finishing joint 2nd (with Trust winning their
final match against Hawks by 1 run off the last ball of the
game); and CMA beating Ferrets by 1 run also off the last
ball of the match)
Cup Final - 2026
The BOTS beat CMA to claim the
double.
CMA batting first - their opener
retired quickly and the rest of the team tried to emulate
this but found the BOTs fielders who didn't drop a catch.
CMA's wickets fell mainly to catches and run outs and they
finished on 112ao after 12overs. BOTS in reply started well,
then had a mini middle order collapse against some excellent
bowling from CMA. The BOTs reached the target with 8 balls
to go and 5 wickets remaining.
Bowl Final - 2026
Trust beat Uni Staff.
Trust batting first set off
at a pace and didn't really relent, even though they lost
wickets they continued to pile on the runs finishing on 195ao
after the 18 overs. Uni Staff in reply were more steady against
some excellent bowling. Never up with the required run rate,
Uni Staff finished on 116-5 after the 18overs.
