Joint top scorers for Eclipse tonight Brian ‘the bucket’ Condon and Tim ‘he used to be nice but is now evil’ Richardson with 14 runs each. That explains the dismal team total of 71-8 off our 18 overs. Yes the pitch was a pudding and challenging but we certainly made a 3 course meal out of it!

It didn’t get much prettier in the field with the dreaded dropping catches bug hitting the team again. Drops from Rhydian, Luke, Niluka (he wouldn’t still be sat in A&E now if he had caught it!) and Brian ‘formerly known as buckets’ Condon contributing to our ever increasing fine pot. Rumour has it that Andy ‘the Perv’ Court has booked a Group 4 security van to collect the fines next week from St. Fagan’s. The opposition the Casuals knocked off the 71 runs with relative ease in 12.5 overs.

In the words of our esteemed President Ian Court “catches win matches” in this case they probably wouldn’t have as we also needed some runs but who knows what may have been had we held onto those chances ……..
